This worked out great! I love rotisserie drum sticks and now this is going to be my go2 method. You get lots of self basting and they cook really evenly...Of course NO NEED to flip them! 16 drums or 32 on two pairs of OctoForks isn't too shabby :)
Served them up with some fried potatoes with...
NBA finals game 2 snack. Fried up some sweet Italian sausage with onions, garlic and topped with cheese. Fired up the 007 UDS with a medium sized fire and 30 minutes later for the snacks!
Cheese injected pork chops on a stick? ....Are you kidding me?? No I'm not and they're SPECTACULAR!!! :)
Injected this with pepper jack and monterey jack cheese. Super moist rack of pork and the cheese just added extra flavor! Rotisserie with OctoForks over maple split fire
Tip: It helps to add...
Roadside marinade, spatchcock and rotisserie for the "Tri-Fecta Chicken"
The pineapple part way through i sprayed on evoo and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.

Oh only took 1 pair of OctoForks and there's space to rotisserie lots more...kinda nice!
Ok here ya go...The grand bacon wrapped country style ribs on the rotisserie experiment. This was with 2 pairs of OctoForks. For those that have them I flipped the claws inward. The CSR's were different sizes so some have 3 tines holding them and a few with 2. Finished with brushing on a...
I've had good legs and I've had good legs but these topped the charts. I don't know if it was the juices dripping from one to another or the Wild Thang rub or if it was the hot maple split fire. All I know is crispy fluffy bite through skin and savory tender juicy inside was chicken nirvana...
Rack of pork is the way to go! Used 1/2 pair of OctoForks to secure it on the spit. Should have brought more pork. We could have fit lots more on the rotisserie spit rod.
Had to travel and cook at a park for Mothers Day so the jumbo mini wsm w/ cajun bandit came out.
Brought the wood...
...knocking out the fat This was knocking out the fat
Picked up some special buy JV Hatch chile sausages and thought I'd experiment a little bit. Spun them up with OctoForks "OctoSkewers" and served them with sauteed onions, bells in pocket sammies with some siracha mustard.
These are some of my favorites. Spun these up on the rotisserie using the OctoForks rotisserie system. The additional spit rod part isn't out yet but will be Summer of 2017.
Seasoned up the porksteaks with "Wild Thang" from Sucklebusters and hung some sweet corn and potatoes over the fire. ...
Spun up a good little meal. We had roasted red potatoes tumbling in the rotisserie basket. Pork shoulder cut country style ribs on 1/2 pair of OctoForks...NOT to be confused with loin cut. These went to probe tender. Then a 1/2 chicken seasoned with SPG from Sucklebusters. Really good meal and...
Just using up some odds and ends I had some ground pork that I found on sale and some sweet peppers to use up. The pork I knew had to be seasoned well so I mixed a good savory rub into the patties and then sprinkled a little on top with some Salt Pepper Garlic rub. Served with fried potatoes...
...then pull up a plate because these were mighty tasty. I really love my wood fired grill. Think it makes a world of difference in flavor.
Mixed up a nice savory pot of saucy mushrooms for these guys! I feel sorry for whomever doesn't like mushrooms....Case
Had my mind made up for comfort food through the rainy weekend so it came down to chicken chow mein and mushroom n swiss burgers.
Today was the chow mein. Marinated the chicken in hoisin and soy sauce. The chicken came out with some real nice color. The skin was so tender and rendered that I...
If you want a great way to do kabob meat this will do it. I've never been big into kabobs but since getting into rotisserie cooking I'm glad I gave it another chance. One thing about kabobs I didn't like even though it looks pretty is mixing the veggies with the meats. No more of that for...
Very tasty juicy chicken breast and smoke sloppy joes for dinner! For the smokey joes...Never let good smoke go to waste! lol
The chicken breast used 1/2 pair of OctoForks for the spin.
I'm sure there's lots of these threads on here somewhere but it's always worth mentioning especially coming into grilling season. Please share any tips you have as well as stories or pictures that pertain to the topic.
While we're grilling or smoking for our family and friends safety should...
These ribs were about as simple as you can get and some of the best I've ever had or done.
Started with full spares and trimmed down to St Louis. These were as easy as 1-2-3 Towards the end brushed on a nice glaze made from what was in the cupboards. Catusp, brown sugar, AC vinegar, orange...
Yep Rotisserie Sirloin Tip and Roast Beef Pizza! ;)
Put all my my favorites into this one. Roast beef, sauteed onions/peppers, alfredo, provolone cheese. Spun up a sirloin tip with the Octoforks over the fire and made for some good leftovers for this ZA!
...Yes and it goooooood!!! Oh man was it good. The glaze soaked into the slices as it was basting with each rotation. This 10 lb ham was gone in a 10 minutes. The leftover from the back end and the bones is going in a simmering pot with pinto beans.
Used OctoForks to hold it together in...
I know on Easter Saturday things like ribs, brisket, burgers and chicken are the popular thing to cook but this just sounded good! Good old fashioned hamburger pie with French fried onions...Yummy stuff :)
