What lighter fluid do you use?

X2 We usually have some left over oil from the latest fry to use. My neighbors would fire their pit up and almost immediately I could smell the lighter fluid (and we live in the country). That was enough to convince me I had no use for lighter fluid!

Cooking Baked beans with amns question

I suggest you try Dutch's Wicked Baked Beans. Use the search bar above to find it. It is absolutely delicious and works well in the smoker with the AMNPS. I substitute a large can of chunked pineapple and add more jalapenos to the recipe.

    BBQ T-Shirts?

X2--I have bought my fair share of H-D shirts as well as other clothing and $25 for a quality T-shirt ain't bad. How about $36 for a pair of H-D fingerless gloves that last less than one season or $300+ for a 5K mile oil change/service (which is why I do it myself)?

Burrito Fatty and Wicked Baked Beans

I was viewing the recent posts trying to decide what to smoke last weekend and came across HarleySmoker's Burrito Fatty and Dutch's Wicked Baked Beans. They sounded like a good combination to me. So... A trip to the local grocery store and I had the ingredients. I stuffed some of the peppers...

    My first Q-View

I'm in. This should be an interesting debate. I too, have always thought "bone-in", but have no real basis for such an opinion. It may be the -- "that's the way we've always done it" mentality.

    Pulling Silver Skin from ribs

Watched a show this last weekend with Guy Fieri checking out BBQ joints around the US and two different rib joints left the silver skin on until they took it out of the smoker. Each claimed it held the moisture in while smoking the ribs. It appeared to come off quite easily. I have always...

#12 STX MEGAFORCE 3000 SERIES on Sale on Amazon

Is there an American made meat grinder?  I noticed Cabelas' website states it's meat grinders are imported and after inquiry, I received an email from LEM stating its meat grinders are manufactured in China. I for one am sick and tired of buying that Chinese crap! When I was in the market for...

    AMNPS and MES

In the FAQ section of Todd's A-Maze-N website he states for the MES you should remove the chip loader and pull out the chip drawer approximately 1 1/2 inches. I have done this every time I use the AMNPS (both cold and hot smoking) and it works perfectly. I always leave the vent wide open and...
