Gave this a go for the first time. Used cherry wood and glazed with bbq sauce and apple jelly & juice. Came out pretty scrumptious. Everyone has liked them so far.

On the weekly shopping trip happen to see mahi mahi on sale. So the wife suggested some tacos did the regular pineapple salsa and tried a Chipotle aioli. Wasn't bad will have to make a slaw next time to go with it.
Gave these a go. Glaze @WaterRat made sounded good. @kilo charlie gave the idea for peach flavor.Over cooked them just a tad. Needed some thicker chops but was done on a quick whim. Overall was a good flavor and will have to make again to perfect. Thanks y'all

I'm sure this has been covered. I have a twin pack I had frozen it weighs almost 19 lbs. I took it out the freezer mid day tuesday. Is there a way to check if the middle is thawed? I wanted to cook Friday night but will go sat night if need be.
I did 2 butts and normally wrap in foil. I figured it's just for the wife and I so I tried one in butcher paper. Think I wont foil anymore. Much better bark and it only took a few hrs more to cook
Was wondering around at the grocery and they had twin pk butts for .99 a lb.. picked one up and see the date to use them by is the 10th. I wont be able to cook them till the 9th. I am going to freeze them for a few days then take out 2 days before I cook. But was curious on everyone's thoughts...
