I’ve had my Traeger since 2018 and have never had an issue with this. Last weekend, I went to turn it on and it continued to trip every RFID outlet that I plugged it into. Eventually I just ran an extension cord into the house and plugged it into a socket that wasn’t RFID. Obviously, I won’t be...
The wife is having a luncheon at work and volunteered us/me for the meat. Loaded baked potatoes is on tap so I am making PP for them. I have it all seasoned up with a local made rub from Cruz spices. Pretty good stuff.
The chuckie is where it gets interesting. I marinated it in W sauce and...
Marinated with W sauce. Kosher salt, restaurant style pepper, garlic powder.
Onion bomb is better than bouillon roast beef version with butter.
Did the potatoes in foil with butter. Loaded them up after.
Thanks for looking,
Fred
A little tribute to the late @Bearcarver. Picked up an arm roast at HEB on sale. I followed bears step by step that he did on a chucky a while back. I smoked mine on a pellet grill. I also seasoned mine the day of. Didn’t have thick W sauce so I used regular. This stuff came out great!
Pulled...
Good evening y’all! Decided to do some “Moinks” or bacon wrapped meatballs for appetizers on this wonderful first full Saturday of college football. Hit most of them with BBQ sauce that was thinned with beer. Some with raspberry chipotle. A few with nothing per the kids request. Longhorns won...
Grilled a big ol ribeye up tonight. Went to the store and found all the fresh hatch green chiles. They only come around once a year. Made poppers out of hatch chiles and then a veggie medley with asparagus, yellow bell pepper, onion, and of course hatch green chiles. Have a good weekend y’all.
The level of kindness and generosity on this website is off the charts. I wanted to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Jeff @jcam222 for the package he sent me. This was for finishing second in the judges voting of the rib Throwdown. Thanks a ton Jeff I can’t wait to put this stuff to use!

@bill ace 350 just posted a ribeye/onion cook and it gave me the inspiration. I’ve been wanting to do better at @indaswamp famous onions and I happened to have one vidalia left. My wife made the glazed carrots! Have a good week everyone.

Good morning SMF. So full transparency on the ribs Throwdown. My initial plan was to do baby back hand grenade tacos and use the waffle as the shell. To do these you smoke the ribs until they are FOTB tender. Tie a little string to the bone with a note that says pull before eating. It’s a fun...

Good evening all. I decided to grill up some CSR today. I tried @indaswamp vidalia onions as well. Thanks for the recipe. Mine didn’t look as good as yours did. I did some potato’s in foil on the grill as well. My favorite was the frito/corn dip casserole that my wife made. Happy 4th of July...
I learned how to make these from my late grandfather (RIP). Sometimes he made them with chicken breasts and sometimes he made them with ground pork sausage. They are great either way. My wife prefers the chicken.
Ingredients
Cream cheese
Jalapenos
Thin sliced chicken breasts
Bacon
Stick butter...
Good evening all. I found a couple of really good looking T-Bones at Sam’s club today. Marinated them in W sauce and seasoned with kosher salt, course pepper, garlic powder.
Marinated these shrimp in Tiger Sauce, Honey, Lime Juice, Garlic, salt/pepper. I marinated them in a large glass...
