    smoked onions

    If you are wanting a side dish from onions, I would try this: julienne the onions, soak in a hot beef broth bath for an hour.  place on perforated foil pan and sprinkle with granulated garlic.  At this time, I would throw some sliced mushrooms in there as well.  Smoke that for an hour or two...

    I smoked it at 225... I pulled it at 158... I was shooting for 160, but I just couldn't wait too much longer.. It took roughly 7 hours.  I smoked with my usual hickory/mesquite combo...

    Yeah, I do see that!  The grain of meat is really similar to the grain in wood... LOL  Glad you guys like it!  It was really good!

    My first attempt at ABT's - Q-View

    These are my first attempt at ABT's.  I halved and seeded jalapenos, stuffed with cream cheese, velveeta, and a little smokie, then wrapped in bacon. They were awesome!  I made about 50 of them.... They only lasted about 5 minutes... Next time i will have to make 200!!

    Stuffed Flank Steak with Pear and Cranberry Stuffing with Q-View!

    I had these flank steaks and was trying to figure out something to do with them... I made some stove top stuffing, sauteed some onions, mushrooms, pears and cranberries and mixed with it.  I flattened out the flank steak so I could stuff them and roll them up. Here is the Q-View!
