    Pellet smoker

Hey there! Lots of people love pit bosses on this forum. I hear good things about camp chef as well. Pit boss is great for high heat searing with a pellet fire. Some Camp chef models allow you to sear with gas. Do you have a preference? I wouldn’t go with Cuisinart personally because I haven’t...

    BBQ Jam Burgers!

It would’ve been perfect if I had some bacon to put in it. I didn’t even think to do beer can burgers unfortunately. That would’ve stepped it up a knotch too

    BBQ Jam Burgers!

Seasoned some 1/2 pound burgers with SPOG and reverse seared them on the Weber 26. While they were smoking I made a BBQ jam. I used butter, onions, garlic, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, bbq sauce, corn starch, and tomato paste as the ingredients. After the burgers were done smoking I...

    Kettle burgers!

The fire bricks work great. That’s a pretty thick barrier between the two cooking zones. It definitely gives you a distinct hot and cool zone.

    Kettle burgers!

I like both smash and grilled burgers equally. The thing I’m figuring out about myself is that I like to change it up a lot. It’s good to have options

    Keto Ribs!

It’s pretty darn good for low carb. The best I have found anyway. Most of the ingredients are actual ingredients and only the last ingredient is sucrolose and there is only a little bit of it.

    Keto Ribs!

Did some keto ribs today! Probably <6 carbs per rack and they hit the spot! Seasoned with SPOG 2 tbs coarse ground black pepper 1 tbs coarse ground kosher salt 1 tbs minced onion 1 tbs minced garlic I then applied some low carb bbq sauce on top for about 20 minutes before taking them off. The...

    Kettle burgers!

It took quite a while indirect. These were thick burgers. Probably an hour all together or close to it but taking it slow made them juicy.

    Kettle burgers!

Sometimes I melt the cheese sometimes I don’t. This is gonna sound weird but growing up my dad never melted the cheese for his hamburgers. I kinda just got used to the texture of that and kinda prefer it now.

    Bare Naked Ribs

I’d at least add salt. Helps with moisture retention

    Need help reaching/keeping temps

Do you use lump or briquettes? Briquettes tends to be ash heavy which can block airflow on kamados

    Kettle burgers!

Yeah I prefer this. I can rearrange the firebricks to any number of configurations and they only cost me $12.

    Kettle burgers!

Did some kettle burgers on the Weber 26! They were about 2/3 pounders. Did a reverse sear at about 300 deg then seared at the end. Used just a little hickory for a mild smoke. I also whipped up some curry vegetables.
