    Sanotize....Covid Nasal spray

Wooooo baby! The paper in question reports data from a clinical experiment. Maybe not a full fledged clinical trial registered with a government body, but clinical data nonetheless. It’s more than just a research paper and I think things like this need to be substantiated with rigorous high...

    Sanotize....Covid Nasal spray

Alright I'mma put on my Immunology PhD hat for a bit and say.. This study doesn't tell me squat about efficacy. I have no idea about their Q-PCR methods, they don't report any raw data, there are no CT values reported, they talk nothing about characteristics of the randomization, etc. More of...

    Sanotize....Covid Nasal spray

I would not be mixing up my own things to spray into my nose. That's a recipe for disaster in my opinion. I also don't think I'd touch this product with a 10 foot pole right now.

    Temp control

I actually like smoking in the 250-275 range, unless I go overnight and then it’s lower. Could you throw a cast iron pan with chips closer to the burner somehow?

    Pulled picnic

I enjoyed the picnic but there was a definite pulled ham quality to it. My wife thought it was the best I’ve done so something was good about it!

    Pulled picnic

Hey all! The local Price Rite had picnic shoulda for 0.99/lb this week so I picked on up for a smoke session. Coated it with SPOG and into the Pit Boss on smoke for 2 hours and then up to 225 overnight. Pulled it off at 10:30 this morning and it was butter. I served it piled on a bun with SBR...

    Everything tastes the same

I've never found this to be the case, like many others or else the method wouldn't be so popular! What kind of charcoal are you using?

    Poultry and cheese

Thanks for the likes and comments! Not quite sure actually. I always want to like it! I think I just prefer chicken more. That’s probably the main reason but don’t know how much sense that makes.

    Poultry and cheese

Greetings all, Been a bit for me here. I’ll get right down to it. I did a few things today for a few different meals- one was a turkey breast as a trial run for the fall. Simple TX Brisket Rub from killer hogs and butter baste on the pellet grill. Was pretty good, but it was also my yearly...

Nostalgia (at least for me) with some chicken thighs

Hey all, I’ve been using the vortex and other techniques to cook chicken thighs etc. lately. But the other day I decided to just to a nice grilling session over some hot hickory lump. So I took a few boneless thighs, seasoned em up, and threw em on. Followed it up with some sweet potatoes...

Thinking of switching to just a Weber 26” kettle

I posted something last week about selling my 22in WSM and picking up an 18in WSM because the 22 is just so big and I never need all the space. But now this has me thinking.... I agree the 22in WSM is a big pain to use when you're not cooking that much stuff. Still a killer smoker though.

First smoke on the bronco. Recommendations on charcoal?

I recently picked up a bag of FOGO and man that stuff is great. Don’t know if I even need wood using it. But I’ve had luck with getting nice smoke with Embers from HD.
