Smoked a home made pizza (ok, home made except for the dough)

Rolled out the dough and pizza sauce. My wife diced up some veggies while I cooked up some bacon. Put that on along with some salami and cheese and smoked at 350ish on indirect. I'd "fired up" the offset barrel smoker and put the pizza on cold zone for 45 minutes. Crust done, goldeny brown...

Country style ribs from crock pot

On Sunday, I messed up and did not allow enough time to smoke them so my wife had the wonderful suggestion to put them in the crock pot unless weather would allow me to smoke them on Wednesday. Weather was NOT any where good enough with almost blizzard like conditions at times (and I'm not...

St. Louis cut rack of ribs

Put mustard on as a “glue” and added a rub. Smoked for 3 hours at 250F with maple wood chips. Went a little higher than normal given the wind. The smoker was on most of the 3 hours keeping temperature up. While the air temp is around freezing, the wind chill takes temp down into the teens F...

    Meat balls

1/2 beef, 1/2 pork is my wife's combo. AS I do all (almost all) of the cooking now, I use her mix and season according to what speaks to me.
