On Sunday, I messed up and did not allow enough time to smoke them so my wife had the wonderful suggestion to put them in the crock pot unless weather would allow me to smoke them on Wednesday. Weather was NOT any where good enough with almost blizzard like conditions at times (and I'm not meaning a frozen treat) I put them on a bed of celery and onions and 1/2 through, topped with chili sauce. Served over a bed of rice. For a "drop back 10 yards and punt" meal, it came out pretty good.
