Thanks everyone for the posts. The main issue is there are multiple cuts sold as country style ribs. I've seen and cooked shoulder CSR before, but not loin. I typically grill loin chops to around medium, any higher and they tend to get a bit tough. Some threads I have read with CSR tips end...
Funny this thread got brought back to life today... I made some CSR on Friday, but took them farther in the foil closer to what you would do with pulled pork... I think final temp was 185 and then threw them on the grill to finish the outside... I felt they were rather dry and the wife agreed...

...above, I think the meat forums, say, Pork, should have Sub-Forums for the common cuts. It would be nice to have a Butt Forum, a Rib Forum, a CSR Forum and so on. I'm just one member. Even if I got a Dozen Paying Premier Members to agree, we are a Drop in a BIG Bucket with 120,000 members...
I haven't done any CSRs for awhile, but I can tell you there are basically 2 types of CSRs:
One has bones in & a lot of Fat, and is easy to make without drying out.
The other is boneless, and not much fat (more like a pork loin), and is hard to keep from drying out.

How old is it? Masterbuilt Csr told me they setttled a court claim and although it’s not publicized they will replace controllers BEYOND the warranty term. I was out of warranty by 3 months and they send me new parts.
