O.M.G!! Soooooo Awesome! I LOVE BLTs!! I have been looking forward to this sandwich for months!
Tomatoes should start coming in pretty good for the next couple of months. But had a tragedy in the garden bed yesterday morning when I when out to check on it. Afternoon before, we had one hell of a thunderstorm roll through with strong straight line winds. Blew my tomato plants over at a 45* angle. I use 1/2" rebar 8' long as stakes and florida weave the plants to the stakes. Anyways, broke two tomato vine stalks when I tried to upright them. My garden bed soil is so loamy, loose and deep now that the stakes can't stay upright even when pushed 3' in the ground. So will correct this by going to 10' stakes and putting wire supports angling down on each side of the stake attached to the garden bed frame. That ought to hold them up in the wind....
hope to pick all the tomatoes off the broke vine plants real soon. Hope I don't lose many....
