Hatch Chilis

Picked up a pound of hatch chilis at whole foods other day.

 

 

Going to rinse them off let them get red.

 

 

 

De seeded. Going to plant a few.

 

 

Into dehydrator. 135*

 

 

 

All dried, approx 18 hours. Going to chop for some hatch SSausage later.

I'll trade you (sausage) for some Hatch chills.. The festival in Hatch, NM is Sept 3&4 and not too far from here.. I'm gonna see if the wife wants to make a day trip or even an over-nighter..

 

The peppers this time of year will boil your earwax..
