Any ideas or tips on helping me make a corned beef into  pastrami. I have an electric Masterbuilt.  Thanks

welcome1.gifto SMF!  We are so glad you joined us! I have made some and love it.  I used this recipe and it was easy!


We love to see pictures of what you are cooking (or what we call q-views here at SMF).  To "upload the q-views" just follow the directions here and it will be easier. If you are using a cell phone, an IPad or a kindle, go to the main SMF page and click the Mobile button. They are easy enough to do when starting with a corned beef. Here's mine from a while ago. Steaming at the end is important to obtain the realistic mouth feel of a NYC deli sandwich but many don't.

Its soooo easy and tastes soooo will never buy any from the Grocery store again.
