YS 640 Thermostat

Hello everyone im new to pellet smoking,and this forum.I just bought a Yoder YS 640 and would like to add some thermostats to the hood of the smoker.Yoder sells them for $50.00 each.Does anyone know any other brand that might work just as good with a cheaper price tag.Thanks for your time.

you can pick up Tel  tru temp gages for 20-30 bucks...just do a search on google...Have several models to choose from..but will be cheaper than 50 bucks...

get the digital that can clip on the grate, couple inches back of meat. That is true temp!
