You know you have a smoking addiction when.....Your parents ask if they need to bring anything with them on their road trip from Texas and you say "stop at HEB and pick me up 4 or 5 briskets".

Meat prices are so cheap in Texas right now I am considering buying another freezer and having them bring a cooler or two of meat with them.

Costco up here in Mass is still like $6.5 / lb.  Check my sig for beef prices.  They need to bring down their prices!

A few weeks ago, pork butts were $.99/lb. Bought 16 pork butts. About 120 lbs. I use pork butts for so many things, pulled pork, sausage, BBB. I'll be down to about 5 by the end of the week. Looking for the next sale already.

Nice. If I found pork that cheap (and had the space) I would stock up too.

If at all possible you guys have to try to finagle your way into a restaurant depot card. The prices are pretty awesome. Since I have been a member (about a year) brisket has been between 2.50-3.50 per pound and has never been much higher. About half the price of even Costco and BJS.
