I am seriously looking at the purchase of the Yoder YS-480, and I'm interested in receiving feedback on owners' experiences with it.  I've seen in many blogs the comment that you'll never regret going large (i.e. YS-640), however, knowing from my experience with my current charcoal pit barrel smoker that I'll only ever use it for my family of 5 and maybe some extended family now and then, I believe that the 480 is more than sufficient in size, especially with the 2nd shelf.

I am interested to know if there are any YS-480 owners and their experience with it, and whether they have any regrets.

I can pick up the YS-480 for $1224 out the door at a dealer in Delaware (no taxes in DE and no shipping added on by this dealer).

Gabes,

I don't own one but Macolm Reed from How To BBQ Right has one and loves it.  search his name on You Tube.
