Hello everyone I wanted to drop a line and introduce myself to y'all.  My name is Kyle and I have recently gotten into BBQ and smoking meats as an every weekend hobby!  I currently live in Michigan and I BBQ and Smoke year round.  Currently I have begun smoking with a Masterbuilt Electric Smoker 30".  I works great but I am interested in purchasing a Horizontal Off Set Charcoal Smoker.  More to follow.

I have already completed the 5 day E-Course and it was very informative.  Thank you for welcoming me aboard I have already gotten a lot of information from the very informative people on this forum, Thanks to you all for helping out a Rookie Smoker and I look forward to sharing experiences and learning more.

You are on the right path, the path to chunking the electric smoker in favor of a charcoal and wood burner.  LOL.  Welcome and enjoy this site.
