I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a 22” Weber Smokey MoI gain and wondering if the cover is the same as the 22” kettle. The only ones I really see on the website and Home Depot are ”22” grill cover”

I think the kettle cover is too short. This is one for the WSM 22in: WSM 22 cover

I don't see it on Weber's website for some reason.

Thanks @JCAP i saw that one. Was really looking for one with the red logo to match my kettle. Maybe it’s an older one then!

If buying new I think they come with a nice cover. At least they use to, mine did.

Just a quick note on the 22" WSM cover; it isn't waterproof unless you treat it with something. It's not a problem unless it is out in the weather. I don't even use my OEM cover because it was a pain to spray. I picked up a waterproof tarp for less than $10 at Harbor Freight. I secure it with bungees. It has survived wind gusts over 30 MPH with no problem. Kinda ugly though, so there's that.

A lot of covers aren't fully waterproof. But they do block UV!
A large trash can bag is waterproof, but the UV will embrittle them within months.
So I use both...the trash bag protects from water and the cover protects the trash bag.

Kinda' like car care: paint protects steel, wax protects paint.

I use the cover that came with the WSM and have not noticed any water getting through or even into the smoker at all. Those are just my observations though so take that for what it's worth!
