Sorry I can't give any recommendations on which dome therm to replace the original with. Mine domer is usually off by 20 to 30* either way dependent on the weather. Once my 22" is settled I just make a mantle note on it's reading and if during the smoke I see it fluctuate then I make an adjustment to the vents. It may be reading the wrong temps but it is consistent in reading the wrong temps.
