Has anyone used pear wood for smoking?  A storm came through last night and it looks like I will have some to try out.
 
Mrtoasty, morning.... That is a good luck, bad luck story.... Too bad you lost a valuable pear tree..... It's good that it can be re purposed to make great Q....   Be sure to let the wood dry for 6 months or longer....  Dave
