I was reading Afgoalie's thread on what wood was best paired with Ribs (Pork ; Spares or BB's );  and thought of taking a poll to see what everyone preffered most , just the flavor , not the style (Chips , Chunks , Pellets , Wood , and so on... ).

might be interesting , then post on your goto style and comments

If you go "other" let us know what it is...

I have Ribs on as we speak with Todd's new Pitmaster's Choice. If they make the Ribs taste as good as the Smoke smells, this will be the new Go-To Pellets in my MES 40 with AMNPS. Update to follow...JJ

Update: It's unanimous these were the best tasting Ribs I have ever made. The rub and foiling juice were the usual, the only difference was the Pitmaster's Choice Pellets...Good stuff...JJ

I'm with JJ on this one..... Pittmaster Blend pellets in the AMNPS....  I've got turkey legs, (brined w/cure and Tip's mix) on right now....   Describing the smoke is difficult...  Sweet, fruity, no acrid smell at all.....   I'm thinking they will be my "go to" in the future if the food tastes anything like the aroma from the pellets.....  look out.....   Dave

I use apple and hickory almost all the time. I am going to have to try the pitmaster blend. Sounds like this would be good.

I bought a 5lb bag of Pitmaster from Todd recently and really like the flavor. The smell of these pellets burning is un believebly good. Can't say it's my favorite as yet but it's right up there...I like his bourbon mixed with hickory too, without the cherry....The bourbon really is strong and pleasing indeed...

Like what was stated, my favorite is now Pitmaster pellets.

DaveOmak is right on in saying that describing the flavor of Pitmaster is very difficult; however, I promise you, the flavor is awesome.

So far, I've smoked a few racks of spare ribs and a couple of chickens using Pitmaster and I'm pleased every time.

I'm confused.. your asking for flavor but the poll is "type"... (holds head between hands and yells... "I'm soooooo Confused" )
