Good morning!

I plan on smoking a Boston Butt in my UDS  this Saturday.  I have always used apple wood chunks for pork and been happy with the results but then I got to thinking;  What type of wood do you fellas suggest for pork butt?  And will it make much of a difference in taste?

Thanks in advance!

It's a personal choice as to what wood you like best. I use oak & cherry a lot, hickory & apple or maple, just oak, just hickory, Pitmaster's choice (hickory, cherry & maple) & once in a while apricot. Play around & see what you like best & take notes so you can look back at them down the road
