I can get fresh jumbo wings on sale this week for $1.63/lb. These are separated and tip removed for true buffalo wings. Looks like I have to make room in the freezer as they are only sold in 40 lb. cases.

That's a good price!

Do you have a restaurant supply that also carries foods and frozen goods?  We have several, the one closest is Bassham's Foods and they have a cash'n'carry outlet; i can get many items like that also, esp. pork butts, 1.22 lb. last week.

Pops, I've got a bunch of places for meats and frozen goods. I keep an eye on their weekly adds on line. I haven't paid over $1.29/lb for pork butts in over a year. Have been getting strip loins between $2.99-$3.49/lb. for over a year. Also been getting bone-in skin-on chicken thighs for $.99/lb. for just as long. It really pays to be patient and watch ads then fill the freezer when you can.
