Im from north central iowa. Love to bbq. Found this website while searching for smoker build ideas. Ultimately found the one I wanted to build and currently am about done with it and cant wait to try it out!!

So I need some help. I finished my smoker. Love it but I went through 30 lbs of charcoal in 8 hours. Seals are good. Think my tube comining ot of fire box is to high?
