I looked at your location... More likely the Brown's game tonight than the Superbowl (Sandusky).

I try to keep a 10-lb bag from Sam’s in the freezer for these wing emergencies :emoji_disappointed:

Mmm wings. Are you from the Cleveland area? I miss it. I’ve actually been on a tear for the GFS oven roasted wings in the fryer. Had them 3 times this week.

Here in New England this time of year a wings are no where to be found...don't seem have that problem for the first time in 20 years!

Sorry for you luck not sure which team you are for but I hope one teams lost of points is equal to the wing lost you suffered.

I suspect wing hoarding for the Super Bowl festivities. I just want my favorite wings from Kroger's to smoke and they are wiped put.
Doubt it, I think only like half the people still watch football. Plus most people are afraid of their governors to have get together. At least here.

I’m in NY. Last year my food distributors wings went from $60/case to $120/case during playoffs until super bowl. Supply and demand. Sucks this time of year but I got 2 packs of fresh “wingettes” from Walmart yesterday. 2 dozen wings only cost me about $10.

Here, wings are cheaper to buy cooked than fresh and that reminds me I forgot my standard SMF wing post... Drums are what I run when smoking. Cure them in Pop's low salt, smoke until 190F IT, cool. A day or so later, toss in rub and grill.
