Winco (out west) has pork butts (shoulders) for 98 cents/lb.

Cheap protein. Hormel brand. Only picked up two, around 10 lbs each, because I didn't know what I had in the freezer. Need to go get a couple more.

We may have the same sale going on here in northern Arkansas, 99 cent per pound pork butt. Limit one package. Got one, 19.50lbs!! How in the heck do I smoke that???? Any help from you would help!!

If you run by Winco this week, check the sell or freeze-by dates on the back of the ones in the case. All the ones I checked in the case listed 5/17/18. They drop the price to move the stock a few days before the sate shown if not sold.

I think you are right. That was my first impression, looks like two 10lb butts, just cut into 20lb piece. Are you thinking boneless? I don’t know.

Just two butts vacuum sealed together. At 10 lbs each, that's bone-in.
