I have used Campbell's French onion soup to finish off chuckies,obviously to a much higher finished temp and style of meat but buy aujus mix for dipping sammies. Glad to hear it was tasty!Both turned out great! Wasn't crazy about the onion soup dip I made but the beef is spot on
My wife has ruined more then a few fine pieces of meat in our crock pot.Get some glasses it's beef abuse! But to each there own!:biggrin:
It's also know where near the abuse my wife placed on me with her eye of round crockpot delight.:devil:
Crock pots are for soups, soupy dishes and reheating chili for pot-lucks/take-ins. Not for cuts of meat. Of course some people also don't brown meat for beef soup of stew either, but whatever.My wife has ruined more then a few fine pieces of meat in our crock pot.
X2. My mom used to terrorize my brother and I and all different cuts of meat with that dang thing. Became known as the Crap Pot around our house: out of her earshot, of course....
