Who owns a Cookshack and what are your thoughts on performance and value?
I have the Amerique. Great smoker, solid, does a fine job. But very expensive. It is digital. But 5 hours for ribs is still 5 hours for ribs, digital controls or not. And an overnighter for butts is still overnight, waiting for the butt to hit 190. A small remote thermometer in the butt will give me the internal temp just as well as the built in probe. And a lot less expensive. The shelves are 14 X 17 and I wish they were a tad larger. Overall, I am happy (and a little wiser now).
