So I havent done much in the way of smoking. i have done ribs, pork butt and cheese. I want to do Bacon (both), ham, turkey breast, tri tip, brisket, roast beef, sausage..... well actually, I want to do IT ALL!!!! lol.

Just curious, what do you think is the easiest item to smoke? and why?

thanks for playing!!!

Meat loaf is the easiest followed by 3-2-1 ribs then chicken.

Butts and briskets are not hard just LONG.

Food prep is the labor intensive thing. Burgers and meatloaf, any fowl, and Moinks are quick to get from the kitchen to the smoker. I just throw frozen Salmon patties straight on the grate without a thought.

Although I have never done it but, RonP (rest his soul) used to do a sams club or costco roaster chicken in the smoker. Basically I think he talked them into selling him the chickens before they put them in the roaster, the where brined/seasoned/prepped. All he had to do is flop it in the smoker and wait a couple of hours. They always looked pretty yummy, and really easy.

I think pork butt is the most forgiving but takes a long time.
