some where on here i read where somebody added another grill to stack up on the cooking grate of a 22.5 kettle grate. im not sure of what to get. a 22.5 coal grate or a 18.5 cooking grate and how high to mount it up above the 22.5 grate.

I made a half 18.5 for my Weber 26 inch.  Works real well.  I just cut an 18.5 in half and added a couple legs with Ys on the end to engage the lower grate.
