Am considering a new WSM or Performa by Weber. Would like to buy around Tulsa, OK, but would like a little guidance as to where. Thanks.

I have not been successful at finding a place to buy the WSM directly in Tulsa.. most folks that I know end up ordering from Amazon and are very pleased to get free shipping. Weber also has excellent packaging and I have not heard any reports of recent shipments arriving damaged in any way.

Here are links to the 18.5 as well as the 22.5 WSM with price comparisons:

If you definitely want to keep it local, I would say that Ace Hardware, Lowes, Home Depot, Etc. could all order it for you but I would imagine you would pay more in the long run.

Thank you, Jeff. I thought that I remembered that you were from Tulsa, so that is why I posted here. Amazon has more than one choice and some are cheaper, but one must pay freight. I would imagine that would eat up the difference. As much "Q" as we have in Oklahoma, its a wonder that they are not more readily available.

I think it's free shipping on Amazon.. I can verify that if you like. Seems like it's tax free also but I don't want to say that too loud

Isnt there a Hasty Bake store in Tulsa.  I remember my dad telling me a month or so ago that there was one there they went to that had all sorts of grills.  May be worth calling them.

Yes.. I think hasty bake is over around 13th and Lewis.

To get a smoker in Tulsa you just sneak over to Jeff's house in the middle of the night and take your pick!

Yeah the WSM boxes do have some stout packing in them, and from what I hear if you do get one with any damage what-so-ever Weber is really good about sending you a replacement part right away. I read one forum where a gut recieved one with the middle body portion out of round by a little bit and they sent him a new one the next day.
