Maybe he didn't have internet access readily in his travels. maybe this site reminds him of old times. At least we have his posts to keep him going.

Just glad he has moved on in life from the loss of his wife! Five years ago today my mom passed away. Am so thankful my dad who is 89 found a lady to spend time with. He goes to her house every night for supper. And she comes to many family gatherings. Sure beats him sitting home alone!
