Just ordered the 5x8 amnps smoker and I am stoked! I have just started cold smoking and normally use the can and soldering iron method. It's ok but not consistent. Sometimes I get 5 hours from one loaded can and other times, it stops after an hour or any random amount of time for that matter. I just got a side of fresh bacon and I didn't want to mess with this while trying to smoke the bacon. Also I'm pumped it comes with 2# smoking pellets for free. That's awesome! I bought the smoker from the amaze web page and was wondering how long it will take to get to southwestern PA? My bacon will be ready to smoke on the 19th of this month. Think it will make it on time????

Awesome!!!!! I can't wait to not have burnt finger tips from shaking that damn soup can around to get my wood chunks to fall to the iron. Ahhhhhhh, what a relief. Thanks mossy

I can't wait! I heard nothing other then good things from anyone that has dealt with Todd. Hey just to throw this out there. I have a 30 inch vertical master built gas smoker. I know the anmps isn't recommended for hot smoking with but just so I understand, this is fine to cold smoke correct? I'm assuming just set it on the burner ( off of course ) light the pellets following the instructions, and let it rip. I'm not assuming air flow will be a problem since it's open on the bottom and then I have the vent up top of course. I read something about warming the smoker up first to start a draft but I think that was referring to using it during a heated smoke
