What happened to A-Maze-N??

Alright, It's been a while since I have been around, but I finally ran out of Pit Master's Choice from Todd at A-Maze-N and now their website goes to PitBoss's website. Please tell me what I have missed since I apparently have been living under a rock...

Unfortunatly Todd did sell out to Pit Boss...

But I am still faithful with his pellets... Pit Boss is the only place I can find them at... And the choices have dwindled too... But they still carry Pit Masters Choice, which is my favorite...

I am right there with you!! They are the only pellets I use in my Amazen tray!! I ran out of them and the sawdust just doesn't hold a candle to the pellets.

Speaking of Pitboss pellets... what in the star-spangled-dingdong is this nonsense? Feels kinda wrong to put the flag (colors) on something meant to be burned.

Unlike their made in China grills, they are trying to let you know the pellets are made in USA. Not sure what is wrong with the colors. It is called the Freedom blend and it matches. Not like it is a US flag they are burning. Probably hoping for some carryover to the sale of their smokers. Like the bag say, all natural, except for maybe the flavoring they add.

I can remember buying some Amazen mats to fit over my racks in the smoker. Todd called me personally to tell me what I had ordered was unavailable but he would make it right with a similar product at a reduced rate. He had great products and customer service that was second to none. I hope he made a killing when he sold and can retire !

If you can get your hands on LumberJack pellets that are the best I've run across and are 100% of the wood on the label unless they explicitly mention "blend".

There are still some pellets under the A-Maze-N brand that can be had online at Amazon, Walmart, Tractor Supply and Ace Hardware. I'm not sure who exactly makes them now.

Yeah, I miss Todd and his customer service, too.

When Todd first sold I think he was around the new company somewhat but now days I think it's hard to keep up with him between hunting and working on the hunting land, checking in on his son at college while on his way to his place in Key West for a little R&R or remodeling while down there. You know it's a tough life but we know Todd can handle it
