So a few weeks back Aldi had pork belly on sale for @2.99 a lb... I see now why it was so cheap...
It was nothing but fat... It spent 2-3 weeks under SmokinEdge dry cure to turn it into bacon...
I didn't get a chance to cold smoke it so I jus sliced it up today...
This is what the slices look like... A little bit of meat on the top edge and then nothing but fat for the rest of the slice... So when stacked up that meat on the top edge makes the stack look good...
