I have 4 lbs of loin in cure and wondering what wood do y'all use for smoke?

I use cherry or pecan or a mix of them

I like Cherry, Apple, and Hickory for so many things.

I think a lot of people like Cherry or Apple the most for  CB, but I like Hickory the best for so many things. I think it's because I am such a smoke hound, and Hickory seems to put a lot more smoke flavor on than most other woods (except Mesquite).

Anyway, I think Cherry or Apple would be the more normal tasty wood for CB.

I think Oak, Sugar Maple, and either cherry or peach would be really good?

I personaly like to use black walnut.I happen to have a lot of it and I think it gives the bacon a mild, mellow  smoke taste.  Hemi..
