Getting ready to smoke my first brisket in the morning. I was wondering what wood you all use for brisket? After reading a lot of different posts I was wondering what you all thought about a hickory and cherry or hickory and pecan mix?
Im a hickory fan but some cherry added to the mix can give some great color imo,trying different blends takes time to pick which you prefer,mesquite is rated high by some folks but can be pretty strong,good luck trying to decide lol
