Last night, heck a few hours ago, Trippp bro's from AR. Opened for BlackBerry Smoke's 25th anniversary show, in Napa at the Uptown Theater.
I didn't think I'd like the Trippp Bro's, the oldest brother was sick so it was the middle bro playing an acoustic guitar, and The youngest brother singing. They did great without a bass player. BlackBerry Smoke killed it. We bought last minute tickets and got front row stage right, one seat over from are seats a couple if weeks ago for Eric Johnson. They amazing seats, although we could see the whole drummer, for some reason they hadthe amps pulled up almost infront if the drum kit, it was kinda weird, I had a perfect view of the 3 guitar players, and the bass player.
Charlie Starr must've had 8-10 guitar changes, he killed it one the Telli B bender.

Not really my first choice of music styles, I'm way more into metal and hard rock, but I was impressed with the talent. Once again after the show, Charlie walks over and hands me his guitar pick. I guess I better start a collection, Eric Johnson did the same thing a few weeks ago. And it's not like I was standing up screaming for one like other people were, it must've been my moonshine shirt with a big Still on the front. It says rise and shine in big letters. Two picks in two shows, is kind weird. Cool to see what other guys use to play.

Fun night again.
Can't sleep, laying in a hotel bed typing in the dark, I hope there aren't to many mistakes. LOL

Amanda Shires in London. Tomorrow I have Warpaint in London then Saturday Jason Isbell in Tilburg Netherland and Sunday in Groningen Netherlands.

In Vegas back in Feb, 7th precisely, saw Def Leppard @ Cesars Palace. For about 1/3 of the show, Joe was right out in the crowd, and pretty much had been to every part of the venue by the time the show was done. Performed tracks on all 3 decks, as well as down front in the standing area in front of the stage. Never seen anybody do that before. They've always been on the bleeding edge of stageshow equipment, and they spared no expense at this one.

Didn't play just their own stuff either. Opened with Funeral For A Friend / Love lies Bleeding, played Personal Jesus, probably a half a dozen others that weren't theirs.

As a bonus, I was out there and missed the coldest weather I can ever recall in Pa.

Seen Great White at our free Hot Summer Nights in Sherman Tx. They have a new singer. The first couple songs singer was pretty bad but he got better as it went on. By the end he was decent.

Seriously, John Cougar Mellancamp, back in the early 2000’s in Terre Haute, Indiana.
I've lost all respect for you Banjo man. JCM really you might as well have said Anne Murray

Chris

AC/DC played a legendary, sold-out concert at the Fort William Gardens in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on July 20, 1980. It was part of their iconic Back in Black World Tour and marked their first tour with lead vocalist Brian Johnson, following the death of Bon Scott.
My wife was 7 months pregnant with my daughter at the time. Cops never asked to check her for booze or drugs. LOL
Never been to one since.

Seen Great White back in 1989 at the World Series of Rock, it was Bad English, Great White, and White Snake.

The most recent concert was Lyndsay Sterling's Christmas tour. My second time seeing her, first one was her Duality tour, where Walk Off the Earth opened
