Hi,

I would like to know what type of steel you are using to build a smoker.

Is 44w grade steel safe for a reverse flow vertical smoker ?

Thank you

Use mild steel.....   44W is high tensile strength...  it may not take the expansion and contraction of the heat / no heat cycling..  it may crack and warp...

What temperature does it take to anneal high tensile steel ??  I have no idea....
