I am new to forum and thought I would just see what everyone else is kind of into around here. I am a full time student and work part time at the VA hospital, but find time to have some other hobbies. Mostly Boozin, Photography, furniture build/refinishing. Picking up my first smoker this weekend. Ended up just going with the basic 30" analog smoker from masterbuilt. Will also pick up the AMNPS since my research here says it's a must for kinda smoker.

*Cheers*

Welcome to the forum. In addition to smoking, I love to fish- this is an Amberjack I caught last summer.

Also kayaking. This is a place called deep hole at Myakka state park. If you enlarge it ,you'll see dozens of gators. That was a really cool trip! Thanks for starting the thread. Happy smokin', David.

Home Brewing.  Although I don't get to do it as often as I would like.

I was starting to have second thoughts about after seeing your home location you have a whole different bunch of fish then we have here on the Gulf coast of Fl. I'd be glad to trade you a bunch of Bo-Bo's for the Wahoo.

Here is a little Red Fish (red drum) I got in about 3' of water a couple of years ago.

Smoke away!!!

That gator pic is something else Sota....nothing like that here in the Great Lakes (thank god!)Cool shots dirtsailer: I like the tow truck one...reminds me of the beginning scene of The Goonies! ;-)Here's what I'm playing with when I'm not smoking...

Wow! A'69 Charger RT. That was my first car back in the 70s. 440 Magnum and 4 on the floor. Same color red and black vinyl top. The only difference was mine had Crager SS wheels. Wow, that's a blast from the past! Thanks, David.

Darn, double-posted again. Cool bikes DS! That explains your handle. I was envisioning a wheeled sailing rig flying across the desert! LOL.

Yeah ever since I saw the Dukes of Hazzard, I've been in love with the 69' charger. So when this came available last spring I pounced on it. There's something about that coke bottle shaped B-body that I just love.

Any of you fishermen want to get in on the Red fish .come on down to Louisiana. 5 PP per day to keep and on good days you will get 20+ shots w/ a fly rod .  I fis h and dirt fish (metal detect) when not smoking or cooking.

I would love to get in on the Red fish, but Louisiana is a bit far to travel to and back in a weekend and vacation time is limited.  I do a little bass fishing when i get time on Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake.  I also have wanted to get into metal detecting (I have a White's metal detector) but don't really know where to search.  Park rangers won't let you search the park beaches and all the public ones I can only find beer cans on.
