Hi everyone!

I very much enjoy a good hot sauce, and am always on the lookout for new good ones to try.

My favorite at the moment is Secret Aardvark Habanero ,but I’d love to hear from you all what you’re favorites are!

This discussion comes around every few years, but nice to start again as taste changes.
Texas Pete is my favorite for widely available. Confirmed when visiting an old Cuban sandwich shop in Tampa. They use Texas Pete.
My son got me a bottle of a Baltimore Fish Pepper sauce that is my overall favorite

My buddy loves that hot sauce but I not tried it. I have several I switch up but my favorites are from a Mexican Store, La Michoacana Meat Market that makes several which are so good but my favorite the Maldo.

I’ve had Texas Pete before, I liked it, but haven’t had any for awhile. Thanks for reminding me about it!

I like Frank's hot sauce, not to hot, I just can't take anything much hotter. Dont know why but when I try real hot stuff it turns my stomach.
I had some Frank’s on sweet corn for dinner last night! I like to eat sweet corn with sour cream and hot sauce…

Where do you get it? I searched on Amazon and they had a bunch of other Melinda’s flavors, but I didn’t see that one.
It's very hard to come by these days, it's even sold out on there website.

If you have a TJMaxx,Marshalls or Homegoods near you check out the little specialty food section in the back as on occasion they will have runs on Melindas products at highly discounted prices. When I find either the Red Sevina or the Scorpion I will buy everything they have!

I don’t have any of those stores real close by, but I’ll keep my eyes open! I’d like to try some…

Most of my favs are from Horsetooth hot sauce or quarantine project.

Ive tried so many, I like heat with flavor. Not always the easiest to find. these two companies are IMO the best. horsetooth is on Amazon and local sometimes, quarantine is all online. Both well worth a taste

I’ll have to check them out!

I've been on a bottle of Crystal's lately and was pretty surprised for the price. Tobasco is meh for me anymore, the green is ok but there are just better options our there these days to my taste. I had a forum going a while back that had lots of good ones from others and some of the various ones I had been trying as well.

I ONLY make my own

I love that idea! Never did it before, but you’ve got me thinking…

Thanks for sharing that forum, I’ll check it out.
Tabasco Habenero is ok in a pinch.
I agree, most Tabasco is ok, but nothing to write home about…

There are a lot of good hot sauces out there many of which are grossly over priced. All the Yucateco sauces are very good and less than $3 a bottle. Zaaschila Habanero sauce is insanely good and unique at $2 a bottle. All available at Walmart

Another of my favorites (probably highly overpriced 😀) is Marie Sharp’s. All the flavors I’ve tried have been great!
