what do you think about this idea

After a little more thinking over the subject I think I have changed
My mind on building a smoke house inside my garagee and building
One outside. My idea is this. Instead of using wood or plywood
For the walls what about using concrete backer board? Onlt thing I'm unsure of
Are there ant added chemicals added to it that would be harmful?

Wouldn't see a problem , the wood kind is just as good and cheaper , just weatherproof the outside.Smoking like you are thinking is a low temp. method and won't leach out any harmful Chemicals.
