I have watched both twice and ready to watch again. Finally come around to Godless.
Crazy good show. I watched it when it was live tv. Always wished they'd add another season. If you haven't watched the Deadwood series you need to find it next. As good or better than Hell on Wheels.

Don't laugh, but the wife just watched the entire Petticoat Junction series so I had to see some just because I walked through the room.

I still have that infernal show-tune in my head...

Funny how the girls on that show don't look much like the ones in the vintage photographs.

I expect that show, along with others in that time period were more about poking fun at rural America, than accurately depicting rural folks.

My wife’s uncle, Sid Melton, was in all those shows back then. He was in one episode of PG. He was a regular on Green Acres. Us old folks remember all those shows.

This little thing for the next 3 days.:emoji_anguished::emoji_laughing:

You can tell by my look how happy I am about it. LOL!!!

I'm still watching Heartland but started mixing in season 2nd season of Vikings Valhalla both on Netflix. 3rd season is up now too. Forgot how much I like that series.

We're about to finish BBQ Brawl on the Food Channel using the Discovery + app.

I don't know how I get drawn into these shows that are supposedly about barbecue and then they're supposedly some kind of competition. I think in reality, they are neither.

But both me and Mrs Okie watch them.

Ray Lampe, known as Dr BBQ lost out in the fourth round when they had to prepare barbecue not using meat, in other words, vegan bbq , as if there is such a thing. Rigged.

But I get it, that every week they can't smoke brisket or ribs or pork butt or yardbird.
