Looking forward to the new Samantha Fish music. Going to see her at New Orleans Jazz Fest, Blues Peer festival in Peer Belgium, Ribs and Blues festival in Raalte Netherlands and at Tivoli Vredenberg in Utrecht Netherlands. She is an artist i will get on planes to go see.
Luckily I can do that so it's on me to go or not go. I had planned to spend 6 weeks in Europe for the Rolling Stones tour plus some other shows. That tour didn't happen but lots of other good music. Looking forward to 4 Neil Young shows over there and heard he is opening the tour with a free show in Ukraine. I am trying to figure out how to make that happen with my recording gear.I would also, if I could afford it. Watching her grow from her days at Knuckleheads in KC, has been a good trip.
I'm glad to see her sans Jesse Dayton. She's gonna start a tour with Kingfish Ingram, called the Gone Fishin tour. But from what I gather, she's opening for him. Its not a shared stage.
About new releases ............ it takes me a few times through a new album for the music to grow on me.
Here's the Gone Fishin tour dates, Mrs Okie and I thought about going to Tulsa for the Cains Ballroom show. But Cains is all Gen Admission and there's no seating. We're just too old for that, haha. My old knees can't take that, its for the young gals and fellas.Luckily I can do that so it's on me to go or not go. I agree in regards to Jessie Dayton. Not sure I understand her opening. I could see them alternating like Ben Harper did with Trombone Shorty a few years ago.
