So much expression, I can only dream of playing like this one day.
At least my arm heal'd up, and I can play as long as I want once again.
I started with a new instructor last week, not sure if he and I will click yet, it's too soon to know.

The guy is an amazing player, though, so I'm hoping for the best.
We are working on a lot of music theory, and rhythm exercises to restrengthen, my fretting hand. I lost a lot of strength in my fingers due to my torn bicep injury, it's coming around though....THANK GOD!!!!

I couldn't even open a ziplock bag with it, it was so weak for a while, I was completely bummed for a while.

I was at this Day On The Green Concert, from what I remember Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush stole the show. It's all a little fuzzy, maybe I'll have a flashback and remember it all.... I can only wish.

Good luck healing up Dan. Stick with it. Took lessons myself mostly in drums but did have some guitar for a few years. GREAT point on clicking with the teacher. I would say Beck is on another planet and NOT a Beck fan either. VERY odd playing tech. Thumb picking and constant vibrato use. WILD but he is like one with the instrument.

Not a Gary Moore fan for some reason but it is soulful playing for sure. The key to that singing guitar tone is the neck pickup. Of course, amp with some decent gain and set up loud helps. A plexi with added gain stage mod will do it in spades. From here, a small echo.
