They are just a symbol of how high your rep power is. Mouse over them and you get a description of what level they are at.

there is something screwy about that, he has a rep power of 3 but two dots and you have a rep power of 14 and only one green dot...... but then again these are the little things

They have little balloon coments if you touch them with the mouse too! LOL

And Piggie has a little person under his too. Hmmm must be a new thing Jeff thought up.

All I know for sure is that NO ONE really knows everything about the rep power thing. I'm just going to use the green things for amusement purposes only. Maybe when I get three I'll juggle em. I don't believe Jeff has ever said what triggers the green things to multiply... I assume it happens at night when everyone is asleep

Those are messengers Y for yahoo, flower for ICQ, Little person for MSN

Strange isn't it? I don't think even Jeff knows completely what the whole rep power / green dot thing does or how they multiply. He has explained it to a certain degree of fogginess, but no final tell all Webster's version yet. So I just look at them and wonder and keep thinking that I have a ball of yarn somewhere and then a butterfly floats by and I've forgotten all about it.

Anybody know what those little pictures of people and flowers and stuff are for? I'm sure I never saw those before this thread. But then I find new stuff everyday when someone tells me where to look!

Oh duh you can put the mouse on it too and it says things like send messages to the person on MSN or Yahoo or some such place. email maybe?

Debi they are for Instant Messenger services offered by Yahoo, ICQ, and MSN Messenger

the flower represents the user does ICQ......its a instant messanger
the big red Y means the user uses Yahoo
the picture of the man........means the user uses MSN instant messanger
