A friend is heading to Memphis and Nashville and asked me if I could reach out to experts and get some recommendations on the best Barbecue Joints there. Any help would be appreciated!

Nashville is Pegleg Porker territory for dry rubbed smoked ribs. The Loveless Cafe has all the southern favorites. Get there early or there’s a wait for your biscuits and fried chicken. I suggest the pick four dinner plate and a to go box!

second for The Commissary. Used to mainly hit Corkys (the original Memphis location - others are meh), but the commissary is a bit better IMO. both get busy and can require waits. Corkys has their own beer which I like alot.

The Commissary in Germantown and Blues City Cafe on Beale right across the street from BB Kings place. Don’t waste time on the others. These two are the best in Memphis area hands down!!!

I may be late to the party on this one, but the Rendevous downtown is worth the visit. Best dry ribs I’ve had.
