Me.. I picked up my free spiraled Ham from my local grocery store for spending more that $400 last
Year. So I’m taking that bad boy and putting some of Jeffs rub on it and double smoking it with Pecan wood..
What’s in your pit?
I have a thread in electric smokers about my first brisket smoke but thought I would share since you asked, was real nervous about it but it turned out great today for my whole family.
For the pit I did the brisket, burnt ends, and dutches beans, to make a whole BBQ shindig I also made twice baked potato casserole, cornbread, pickled red onions, cole slaw, pulled pork I froze that I did a few weeks ago, all along with some homemade bbq sauce.
Everything was perfect and my family said it was excellent!
Won't be firing up the smoker but, this year the 'ole Weber Kettle get's the call.. Along with the ham we're going to grill another bird lightly "kissed" with apple and cherry wood smoke. Did this for last Thanksgiving and the guests just demolished the thing. Mom's oven made turkey mostly went back home with her. I felt bad but, you just can't beat a grilled bird!! I'll try and get some pics!
