Hey guys I'm from Amarillo and I'm about to build my first UDS, and I have a question. I have a couple sealed barrels that were used for polyurethane spray foam. Are those safe to cut the lid off and use? Or should I try and find another barrel?

Welcome aboard, jjrose!  Glad you joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas.  Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty.

I've never built a UDS myself, so maybe others who have will chime in, but I would be very hesitant to cook food in anything that ever contained industrial chemicals.  Stop over in the UDS builds forum and ask that question.  You'll get some more expert advice from folks who have done it.  Good luck with the build, and let us know how it goes.
