So then what cut of beef is BEST (think Cranky's "BEST" thread) for grinding ?? think I may start... gonna ask the butcher at Publix if they use this stuff...

I use whole round roast usually. The roast will be 20-25 pounds typically. I had enough fat that you can get anywhere from 80/20 or leaner. I have a thread here that I did not long ago about cutting a whole top round. For grinding you trim fat and save then grind the meat and then grind the fat and add it back in to get your proper fat ratio.
